Digging This Song Right Now V.24 – Hezekiah Walker – Every Praise

2015-09-13_22-10-02

When people ask me what my favorite band is, they seem to have a shocking surprise when I tell them I don’t have one. I’ve never been loyal to one band, but rather, I’m loyal to songs. I may like five songs off a band’s album, but the rest I don’t care for and I move on. Why do I bring that up? Well, this song I’m digging right now is a deeply religious song and I’m not religious, but I love the song. I feel the energy plowing through the chorus. I can see how people who are seeking a purpose in their life would find this song, feel the energy and find purpose by following the message and becoming religious. Going back to my lack of a favorite band complex, I can listen to this song, gain the energy from it and attach it to my purpose, without feeling the need, or desire, to seek more from the religious message in the song.
